After the break for the national teams, Serie A restarts with an unmissable Napoli - Milan that will be vital for both teams chasing prestigious but, respectively, difficult and very difficult objectives. For the Neapolitans, the aim is still for the Scudetto and it could not be otherwise but the Azzurri have had many setbacks in the second half of the season and have, for now, led to the loss of first place and a second place that is only three points from the top but that seems to be suffering and in need of a jolt. For Milan, however, despite the two victories in the last two rounds against Lecce and Como, the race for the Champions League remains truly arduous with still several points to recover and teams to overcome. For both teams, however, the time is now: Napoli cannot leave any more points on the road and really needs an important victory against a prestigious opponent, Milan, on the other hand, to reach fourth place undoubtedly needs something extraordinary and winning at the Maradona, certainly, is part of the whole. Conte should still rely on Lukaku and add the flair of Raspadori to support, Conceiçao must replace Musah and thinks of Abraham as an alternative to Gimenez. Then, many other champions on both sides for what will be a heartfelt, important match, not to be missed.
Only 1 win in the last 7 games: very little for a team that is fighting for the Scudetto but not enough to keep them out of the game: Napoli is in fact second, just 3 points behind Inter.
At home, the Azzurri's recent form is good and shows 4 wins and 2 draws in the last 6 appearances at the Maradona. Napoli clearly maintains its position as the team with the least beaten defense in Serie A with 23 goals conceded in 29 games.
The two victories against Lecce and Como have rekindled some faint hopes of finishing fourth, but Milan is still currently ninth. Away from home, Milan has no half measures: only 2 draws together with 6 wins, 6 defeats in the 14 away games played.
In the last 6 games in general, Milan has always conceded at least 1 goal but in the last 7 they have always scored and this shows the fact that they are a team that is difficult to predict and judge.
As individuals, the Devils start again from the scorers of the last success over Como: Pulisic and Rejinders who, with 9 goals, are the best scorers of the team.
Without Musah suspended and with Gimenez in doubt, Milan loses two important pieces that they will have to know how to replace while Napoli has more freedom with the only unavailability of David Neres. If it is true that in the last two days it was Milan that won, it is also true that Napoli, despite not taking the three points, both in Venice and with Inter, has built a lot therefore, does not seem to have problems with maneuvering or fluidity of play but, if anything, with realization. Against a Milan that, even in its best moments, remains quite constantly fragile in defense, we believe that a Napoli, concentrated, at the maximum, pushed by its fans can still consider itself the favorite and have the chances to win the match, also seeing that, away from home, Milan is always constantly in crisis in certain and variable periods of its games. The BetMines algorithm prediction therefore sees the most likely eventuality of a Napoli victory.
