The elimination in the Champions League erases the good results of Sergio Conceiçao's Milan in the championship and throws the Devil back into discussion just as if this slight rise had never happened: Saturday afternoon at Torino's home, Milan has only one result available, first of all to start erasing the European disappointment, then, also to try a chase for fourth place which is very difficult. Opposing Milan's plans, however, will be the host Torino who, without overdoing it, who, within friendly walls, has been on a positive streak for a few matches but who, just like Milan and with due differences, has never really convinced this season with a few exceptions. As often happens to Torino these days, the Granata find themselves with a relatively safe margin on the safety zone but too wide to attempt a chase for a European place and here, the Toro fans, ask for grit and a sense of belonging especially in the big matches. This home match against Milan, in recent years, has often brought joy to Torino and disappointment to Milan who, however, has in the only success of the last 11 matches, one of the historic victories of its recent history: the 0-7 of 12 May 2021.

Torino's shape and key statistics

Although it was almost entirely made up of draws, Torino's last defeat against Bologna ended a positive streak that had lasted 7 games, while the Granata's positive sequence at the Olimpico Grande Torino that has lasted 4 games is still ongoing.

Paolo Vanoli's team is one of those that draws the most in the league (10 times) and, among the teams in the second half of the table, it is the one that has conceded the fewest goals of all.

Milan's shape and key statistics

The 1-1 at San Siro against Feyenoord is obviously comparable to a defeat and marks a point of maximum disappointment for Milan who, on the other hand, are recovering in the league in 2025 considering the score of 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. The current position in the standings, however, is still not satisfactory (seventh place) although the Devil has collected 10 points in the last 4 games.

The negative point of Milan's championship so far is certainly the data on away goals scored: only 16 in 11 matches, which makes the Rossoneri the tenth best away attack in Serie A.

Torino vs Milan Prediction and Tactical Analysis

Turin, at home, tends to play solid matches that, ideally, “marry” with the less spectacular ones of Milan. Also considering the very delicate moment of Conceiçao's team and some defections among the ranks of the Granata, the prospect of the match is that of a rather tactical match, probably not spectacular. We can therefore expect a great battle and a series of duels on a physical rather than technical level. The prediction of the BetMines algorithm for the Torino – Milan match therefore sees less than three total goals in the match.

  • The prediction of the BetMines algorithm for the Torino – Milan match predicts an Over 2.5 goals at 39%
  • The prediction of the BetMines algorithm for the Torino – Milan match predicts an Under 2.5 goals at 61%
