Serenity acquired against serenity rediscovered: with this mood, Udinese and Parma will face each other on Saturday night at the Dacia Arena for the Saturday Night of Serie A. If in fact, for the Friulians, the narrow victory against Lecce was another success, the third in the last four games that makes the team climb further positions, that of the new Parma of Cristian Chivu was a breath of fresh air in the greatest moment of difficulty for the Emilians who, however, with the three points earned in the last round, leave three teams behind in the standings feeling virtually safe. The pressure of the match and the next few days from now until the end of the season will still be considerable on the shoulders of Parma, for whom the fight to avoid relegation is more hard-fought than ever, while it will be interesting to see the outcome of this second part of the second half of the season for Udinese, who have now reached the safety threshold and can play with more ease and tranquility, which in reality, in view of Saturday's match, are still a little compromised, certainly not by the excellent results of the last period but by the case of Lorenzo Lucca and his penalty kick scored but taken away from Thauvin. If this, however, as it seems, is the only reason for Udinese's pre-match disturbance, Runjaic can rest easy, knowing that he is facing a Parma no longer demoralized by consecutive defeats but reinvigorated by the 2-0 inflicted on Bologna on the last matchday.
10 points in the last 4 matchdays and tenth place in the standings: Udinese's recent and absolute championship performance is certainly positive, as is the performance of the Friulian attack in recent times: always on target in the last 6 matchdays with 10 goals in total.
There are no significant differences in performance, however, between Udinese at home and away but, in the last 2 matches played at home, against Empoli and Venezia, Udinese won both times scoring 6 goals in total.
Parma stopped the streak of 4 consecutive defeats with the 2-0 success against Bologna which is worth, above all, the seventeenth place in the standings.
We will therefore have to see if, even with the many current unavailabilities, Chivu will be able to reverse the trend away from home, which is very critical. Away from the Tardini, Parma has in fact collected only 1 success, 5 draws and 6 defeats.
What has almost never been lacking, even in defeats, was the goal. Parma has in fact so far scored 32 goals in 26 league games: no team in the last ten places in the standings has done better.
The home victory against Bologna has brought serenity to Parma who, however, in view of the away match in Udine, will have to deal with two still problematic factors: the fact of playing away from home (where so far they have only won in Venice) and the various unavailabilities of the lineup. Udinese, moreover, has returned to its seasonal peaks and seems to be in the best conditions to play another good match: The prediction of the BetMines algorithm is therefore home and rewards Runjaic's team.
Udinese (4-4-2): Sava; Kristensen, Solet, Bijol, Kamara; Atta, Lovric, Karlstrom, Ekkelenkamp; Thauvin, Lucca. Coach: Runjaic.
Parma (4-2-3-1): Suzuki; Delprato, Valenti, Balogh, Valeri; Estevez, Keita; Man, Sohm, Cancellieri; Bonny. Coach: Chivu.
